Place your thin sliced almonds spread onto a parchment lined cookie sheet. Using a brush, dip the brush in your food coloring and paint your almonds until they are opaque. Set aside to dry

Heat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheets with cooking parchment paper or silicone baking mats.

In a medium bowl, mix cookie mix, egg, egg white and butter with a fork or spatula until well mixed and is texture of sand or crumbs.

Squeeze handful of dough crumbs together tightly to form a small log or 'finger'. Score top of log with butter knife to shape the knuckle and press one sliced almond at the tip of the log to create the fingernail. Shape the top to a small point.

Repeat to use up remaining dough. Refrigerate fingers for 30 minutes

Bake 15 minutes. Cool completely, about 30 minutes

7Serve alongside your Halloween foodie table. Place your fingers in a soup pot to resemble a 'witches brew'.
