Makes a 9x13 pan-ful of glorious Valentines day inspired chocolate bark

YOU WILL NEED

  • Aluminum Foil or parchment paper
  • 1 teaspoon water + 1 tablespoon butter

Remove 2 clear bags from your pouch. One bag, unlabeled (candy toppings), one bag, unlabeled (pink white chocolate layer)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Parchment line or foil line a 9x13 baking dish
  2. In a microwave safe bowl, add contents found directly inside your pouch and microwave your chocolate at 50% power in the microwave for 20 to 30 second intervals, stirring in between intervals until just melted, being careful not to burn.
  3. Pour chocolate onto your prepared pan and spread it around with a spoon or spatula.
  4. Place pan in the refrigerator to harden slightly. It does not need to be completely firm.
  5. While your chocolate is cooling, open clear bag (white chocolate) and melt white chocolate using the same microwave method. White chocolate can be temperamental and burns quickly. Add 1 tablespoon butter and 1 tablespoon of water to your white chocolate (stir) before you begin to microwave it to help the chocolate melt without burning too fast.
  6. Remove pan from refrigerator and pour + spread your pink tinted white chocolate over your chilled dark chocolate
  7. Open your second clear bag (fun toppings) and sprinkle on top, pressing them lightly into your white chocolate
  8. Let the bark harden for 30 minutes to 2 hours. You can refrigerate your bark to speed up the process.
  9. Break bark into pieces and enjoy
