For the Perfect ‘Za Crust
You will need: 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil, 1 cup 9 (237ml) lukewarm water
Directions: Empty the contents of the package into your bread maker bowl. Pour the oil and then the water on top of it. Set your bread maker for the dough setting and begin the cycle. When the cycle has finished, remove it from the bread maker and cut into 2 equal portions. Working with one portion at a time, turn it onto a lightly floured board and knead a few times. On your baking pan or stone, stretch or roll dough to the desired size for your pizza. Top with your favorite toppings and bake in a preheated 425°F (218°C) oven until cheese is bubbly, from 18 to 24 minutes depending upon your oven.
You can refrigerate any unused dough, wrapped fully in plastic wrap, for 24 hours. Bring to room temperature before using.
Makes enough dough for 2 ‘Zas.
For the Perfect Slow Cooked ‘Za Sauce
You will need: 1 can (28oz/794oz) diced tomatoes, 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
Directions: Place all of the ingredients from the small bag into the bottom of a 2 to 3.5-quart slow cooker. Stir to combine. Cook on high for 2 to 3 hours until thoroughly cooked. Top your pizza and enjoy.
Makes enough sauce to cover 2 pizzas
