YOU WILL NEED: OAT CRUMBLE

  •          2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  •          ½ cup melted butter (or coconut oil)

YOU WILL NEED: FUDGE LAYER

  •          1 cup sweetened condensed milk (do not substitute for evaporated milk)

DIRECTIONS

  1.    Preheat oven to 350F
  2.    Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang around the edges.
  3.    Remove clear pouch (chocolate fudge mix) from your bag and set aside
  4.    In a large bowl whisk together your butter (cooled to room temperature) and eggs.
  5.    Empty contents found inside your pouch into your bowl with butter and blend the dry and wet ingredients together.
  6.    Spoon about ¾ of your mixture into the bottom of your baking pan. Reserve about ½ to ¾ cups of your mix and set aside
  7.    Fudge layer: Add about ½ in water to a medium saucepan over low-medium heat and place a large glass bowl over top (ensure the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water directly). Empty contents found in your clear bag removed in step 2 along with your sweetened condensed milk. Gently stir your mixture as it melts. Once mixture is a smooth consistency, remove the pan from the heat
  8.    Assemble: Pour your fudge layer over the top of your base and spread until smooth. With the reserved oatmeal mix, drop tablespoons over your fudge layer so that you have a marbled layer of fudge and oat.
  9.    Bake your oatmeal fudge bars in your preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. The pieces of your oatmeal on the top of your fudge should look fully set.  If you bake  your bars for longer, you will have a crispier less chewy bar. Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing.
