YOU WILL NEED : For Scones

  •          ½ cup butter, frozen & grated
  •          ½ cup canned pumpkin
  •          3 tablespoons heavy (35%) cream
  •          1 large egg

YOU WILL NEED : For Glaze

  •          2 tablespoons milk or cream

YOU WILL NEED : For Spice Drizzle

  •          1 tablespoon milk or cream

DIRECTIONS

  1.     Preheat Oven 400 degrees F (204C). Parchment line baking pan or grease your pan well. Alternatively for wedge style scones, use a well greased 12 or 14” cast iron or oven ready skillet
  2.     In a medium bowl empty contents of LARGE unlabeled bag.  Add grated butter and using a pastry tool or two forks, cut your butter into your mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs. 
  3.     To your bowl add canned pumpkin, heavy cream and your large beaten egg.  Blend your mix together with a spoon just until incorporated. It will be sticky
  4.     Drop 2 – 3 tablespoonfuls of your mixture onto your baking sheet to make rounds. Alternatively pour your mixture into your prepared skillet pan and score the tops into wedges.
  5.     Bake your scones for 18 to 22 minutes until slightly golden.
  6.     While baking make your glaze and drizzle : for your glaze, empty contents of BAG#1 into a medium sized bowl. Add 2 tablespoons cream and blend together until smooth. Set aside. To make your drizzle, empty contents of your SMALL unlabeled bag into a small bowl. Add 1 tablespoon milk and cream.  Scrape your drizzle into a piping bag with a circle tip inserted. Set aside
  7.     Once your scones have baked immediately DIP them in your glaze (or spoon your glaze and brush the tops evenly).
  8.     COOL completely. Once cool, use your spice drizzle to drizzle the tops of your glazed scones.  Enjoy!
