Malmo Meatball Magic

YOU WILL NEED:

•          1 pound ground beef
•          ¾ cup sour cream
•          1 cup water

Optional Additions:

•          1 package of sliced mushrooms
•          1 onion, diced

Mushrooms, Onions, and a creamy gravy-based sauce gives life to this meatball and pasta dish. Jus An easy weeknight slow cooker meal. A homey, comforting meal. The mix includes pasta, meatball binder, and slow-cooker sauce mix. Just add ground beef, sour cream, and water. Serves 4

DIRECTIONS

1.       Remove 2 clear packages and set aside
2.       Set pasta (found directly inside your pouch) aside
3.       Empty ground beef into a medium sized bowl along with contents found in clear bag labelled #1. Mix together.  Pinch off one inch pieces of your meat mixture and roll into balls. You can at this point carefully add your meatballs to the bottom of your slow cooker OR for extra delicious caramelized texture lightly brown all your meatballs using a saucepan on medium heat (with a little oil to grease) and then transfer your caramelized meatballs into the bottom of your slow cooker.
4.       In another clean bowl add water, sour cream and contents of clear unlabeled bag. Add optional mushrooms and onions and give it a good stir.
5.       Add your sauce to your meatballs in your slow cooker. Add your lid to the slow cooker and turn to LOW. Cook until meatballs are cooked through and sauce has thickened slightly.  If sauce thickens too much during cooking process, add in an extra ½ cup water during the cooking process and give it  a good stir again. Cook for approximately 4 to 5 hours, depending on how big you make your meatballs.
6.       Pasta: Fill a pot with water, add salt and bring water to boil. Open noodle package and pour noodles in. Boil for 7 to 9 minutes, until noodles are soft. Drain. Add noodles to your plate or bowl, top with your malmo meatballs and sauce.
