Low Carb Pasta and chicken swimming in a thick creamy sauce lightly flavored with garlic, onion, salt and pepper.  A comfort meal without all the extra carbs. Our meal mix features the florentine sauce mix (just add water!) and a low carb pasta made with cauliflower. Serves 4

YOU WILL NEED  

  • 1 to 2 tablespoons oil 

  • 3 chicken breasts, sliced into strips 

  • Vegetables of choice (we love asparagus, kale and spinach) 

  • 3 to 4 cups water or milk  

Optional Additions :  

  • Shredded cheese to top and a squeeze of lemon juice 

DIRECTIONS 

  1. Heat oil in a large pot over high heat 

  1. Remove clear pouch found inside your bag, set aside.  

  1. Add chicken and cook until no longer pink, about 5 to 6 minutes.  Remove chicken from pot. 

  1. Add vegetables of choice, cook until your vegetables are soft  

  1. Add chicken back to the pot along with the contents of your small unlabeled bag you set aside in step 2.  Stir mixture until everything has been evenly coated 

  1. For a lighter fresh pasta toss, just add the water and the pasta starting with 3 cups. For a heavier creamy pasta toss, add milk or nut milk and cauli pasta from your pouch to your pot.  Stir constantly to prevent pasta from sticking.   

  1. Cook your one pot meal for about 20 minutes with lid covering your saucepan setting your stovetop burner to medium heat until pasta is cooked through and your liquid has reduced to a sauce coating your pasta. Stir occasionally. Add additional milk or water ¼ cup at a time if you like a thinner sauce. 

  1. Toss additional cheese on top (optional)
