Preparation Directions

Remove 2 clear bags from your pouch. One medium unlabeled bag (your sweet peanut sesame sauce) and one small unlabeled bag (your caramelized onion starter)

YOU WILL NEED

  • 1 large, sweet onion, peeled and sliced thin
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cups of your favorite vegetables – we like
    • Frozen Asian or thai style vegetables
    • 1 bag of cabbage or coleslaw mix
    • Broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, onions

 

DIRECTIONS :

  1. Heat a large pot with boiling salted water. Empty contents found directly inside your pouch (noodles) into your water and boil until soft – about 4 minutes. Test for desired done-ness
  2. Reserve 1 cup of water before draining noodles
  3. Drain noodles and keep warm
  4. In a large skillet, melt butter on medium-low heat
  5. Add your onions and toss to coat
  6. Open SMALL clear bag and sprinkle your caramelized starter on top of your onions. Stir well.
  7. Continue to cook onions on medium-low heat, stirring often until your onions are caramelized and brown.
  8. Remove Onions from your pan and keep warm
  9. In the same skillet, add sesame oil along with your vegetables of choice. Stir fry on medium-high heat until your vegetables are soft. Empty contents found in MEDIUM unlabeled bag onto your vegetables along with your reserved noodle water. Stir fry your sauce with your vegetables on medium heat. Return your noodles to your skillet and stir fry for another minute. Add additional water (1/4 cup) for additional sauce.
  10. Portion your ramen stir fry into bowls and add caramelized onions on top

Serve hot and enjoy
