Results not typical. Individual results will vary. At DYB, we always encourage people to find their optimal weight and live a healthier life by eating the right foods and staying active.

However, we do want to set reasonable expectations. As we all know, everyone's body works differently. Weight loss and weight gain are no exception as they are impacted by age, gender, metabolic rate, level of activity and state of health.  Individual results will vary depending on these factors.  For exampl, mens bodies, by design, are larger and have a higher percentage of muscle and lower percentage of fat versus women. The added muscle, in large part, is due to higher levels of the hormone testosterone and allows them to lose weight faster. In contrast, women and older individuals generally lose weight at a slower rate

 

 

Meet Jennifer

Her before and after transformation is only a part of her story. It's actually just the beginning.  Jennifer lost over 120 pounds, naturally, without surgery over the course of a couple years.  Since then she has maintained her weight loss and focused on nutrition, health, wellness, biomechanics and toning her body shape through various forms of fitness.

 

The owner of DYB and Crave It she loves all things food, fitness and doggies (she is a proud doggie mama to two shelties).

 

She co-coached over 7 different events with hundreds of participants.

 

This is anything but a cookie cutter program. We tailor aspects to the needs of individual members. We monitor progress and success of each member and mak changes if needed

 

Beyond the weight loss, for Jennifer it's about health, wellness, feeling better and learning about food. Learning how to live the life you want and feel better.  It's not about a diet, it's about adopting a way of life. A way you can live with based on your lifestyle!

 

She is a firm believer in nutrition first.  Doing it right.  She is not a believer of starvation diets or in constricting calories to achieve fast and quick weight loss (which is always unsustainable). 

 

Her knowledge has been acquired through her experience and she uses her professional science backed research background in breast and ovarian cancer research and skillset to create an experience that is not only fun but also one that is educational and transformational. 

 

In her opinion, it's not just about the weight you lose on the program. It's about finding sustainable solutions for you that work for you, your lifestyle and your food preferences.

 

It's about mindset.  Having been through a weight loss journey herself, she understands mindset struggles. She understands good days and bad days. She understands what you go through, on a very intimate and personal level.

 

It's about finding your happy place so that you can achieve what you want and attain your goals.

 

It's about helping you when you hit a plateau. It's about celebrating your scale and non scale wins. 

 

It's about every day life. 

 

She will be co-coaching the entire program for 5 weeks and offering personal levels of support, food modifications and anything else needed for any member that joins.

 

Meet Matthew

Matthew has spent the last 5 years being an advocate for better health, nutritious meals and changing his own physique. 

Playing college for Michigan State he quickly grew to over 300 pounds.  The position required it. So he got bigger. And Bigger.  Until he tipped the scales well over 350 pounds.

After a sports related accident and an MCL full tear.  Surgery + rehab + life throwing a few curve balls made Matthew consider the course of his own health.

He made consistent changes to his diet and began to exercise.  A year later and Matthew was over 100 pounds lighter. 

He is certified in personal fitness and brings a wealth of sports related fitness, injury prevention and rehab to the table.

He is here to breathe life into fitness. From the quick, dirty and easy to HIIT. From circuit systems that need no equipment to gym workouts. Matthew will provide, make available and offer fitness routines to help get your blood mojo going.

Matthew is there to provide the male point of view when losing weight and offering any advice to any of our amazing gentlemen joining us during our 6 weeks from the point of view of someone that has also lost over 100 pounds naturally and has kept it off for over 3 years.

In addition to weight loss he speaks to better body image, healthy muscle growth and why building a healthy physical and active side is just as important
