Cookie Monster Sandwich Cookies

YOUR KIT INCLUDES :

•         Dunk the Chunks Cookies Mix

•         Package of Natural Marshmallows – Mixed bag of small and large marshmallows

•         Package of Red Beetroot Powder

•         Package of Chocolate Chips

DIRECTIONS

1.     Dunk the Chunks Cookies Mix – Bake cookies as directed on package. We recommend refrigerating your cookie dough an hour before baking.  Make an even number of cookies because 2 cookies will be used per monster
2.     Make Your Icing – Empty contents of your medium unlabeled bag (icing sugar) into a bowl.  Beat ¼ cup soft butter and ½ to 1 tablespoon HOT water into your icing until you reach desired consistency. Carefully open package of red beet root powder and add a little at a time until you reach desired color. Beat after ever addition
3.     Cut Large Marshmallows – Open marshmallow pouch, remove the large marshmallows and cut each one in half (width wise – you will end up with 2 eyes per marshmallow)
4.     Assemble your Halloween Chomping Cookie Monsters
5.     Spread pink icing on the flat side of one of your cookies. Place mini marshmallows for teeth along the edge and dab a little more icing on the tops of your mini teeth marshmallows.  Press a second cookie (flat side down) onto the top side of your teeth
6.     Grab 2 of your large cut marshmallows and dab a little pink icing in the middle of each marshmallow “face”.  Attach a chocolate chip to your pink icing you are using as “glue” and press down until it holds. These are your brown eyes. Add a little extra pink icing to the bottom of each marshmallow and press your eyeballs on each side of the top cookie. Press lightly until they stick.  Repeat for all your cookies.
