YOU WILL NEED: CAKE

  •        3/4 cup soft butter
  •        1 cup milk
  •        5 large eggs, room temperature

 

YOU WILL NEED: FROSTING

  •        16oz cream cheese (2 bricks)
  •        ½ cup soft butter
  •        Water or milk as needed to thin out your frosting to desired consistency

 

 

DIRECTIONS

  1.     Preheat oven to 350F
  2.     Remove 2 clear bags found inside your pouch, set aside
  3.     Cream butter (for cake) inside a medium sized bowl. Add eggs and on medium speed beat them into the butter. Empty contents found directly inside your pouch into your bowl along with the milk and beat on medium speed just until your dry and wet ingredients are combined. Do not overbeat
  4.     Pour cake mix into TWO parchment lined or well greased and floured 9 inch cake pans OR one large 9 x 13 pan
  5.     Bake cake for 30 to 40 minutes (less time needed for 2 round pans. More time will be needed for a 9x13 pan) or until a toothpick inserted in center comes our clean
  6.     Allow cake to cool completely. Once cooled, prepared the frosting and coconut topping
  7.     For Frosting:  Beat cream cheese and butter together until light and fluffy. Empty contents of unlabeled bag (white mix) into your bowl and beat your dry and wet ingredients together until fluffy. Add milk or water a little at a time to thin out your frosting to reach your desired frosting consistency (1 teaspoon at a time). Spread on top of cake. If using 2 round cake pans, use ½ the frosting for the top of your first round, top with your 2nd cake round and use the rest of the frosting for the 2nd cake round topping. Open second clear bag (coconut) and sprinkle your coconut on top.
