JUST ADD:

BUTTER 

MILK 

EGGS 

 

YOU WILL NEED: 

For the pancakes -  

  • 3 egg yolks 

  • 3 egg whites, whipped 

  • 1 2/3 cups milk, more if you like a thinner batter and pancake 

  • 5 tablespoons butter, melted 

For the peanut butter frosting -  

  • ½ cup butter, room temperature (soft) 

  • 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk 

 

DIRECTIONS:

Make Frosting –  

  1. Add butter to a medium-sized bowl.  Whip your butter on medium speed until light and fluffy 

  1. Carefully empty the medium unlabeled bag into your bowl and beat on low speed with your mixer. Add milk 1 tablespoon at a time and beat with an electric mixer in between each addition until your frosting comes together to a consistency desired.  

  1. Refrigerate until ready to frost your pancakes 

Make Pancakes -  

  1. In a large bowl, mix together your yolks.  Add milk and whisk to combine 

  1. In a separate bowl BEAT your egg whites until whipped and fluffy (shiny and stiff)  

  1. Carefully fold in your egg whites into your yolks 

  1. Add melted butter and combine 

  1. Empty contents of the LARGE mix (your chocolate pancakes) into your bowl and stir until the batter is smooth 

  1. Let the batter sit for 15 – 20 minutes.  

  1. Over low to medium heat, pour a ¼ cup of your pancake batter on a well-buttered pan. When bubbles start to form on the surface of the pancake, flip and cook for a minute on the other side 
    When pancakes are ready, top with your fluffy peanut butter frosting
