YOU WILL NEED

6 cups (1.5L) warm water
1 cup extra frozen or fresh vegetables of choosing
1 to 1 ½ lbs beef : either beef cubes or ground beef

DIRECTIONS

Add a little oil to the bottom of a large stock pot
Cook beef until brown on all sides
Empty contents of pouch over top beef and stir
Add vegetables and water, stir to combine. Bring soup to a boil, then reduce to simmer. Add lid and simmer for 30 minutes until barley is soft

TIP : Serve with a fresh slice of our Garlic, Herb & Cheddar Quick Bread for a perfect addition to your soup-er meal. Add a garden salad with any of our DYB dressing mixes, made for a healthy and hearty meal
