YOU WILL NEED 

  • ¾ to 1 1/4 cups water for the poutine gravy 

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise + ¼ cup sour cream for the ranch 

  • 4 cups cooked French fries and any other poutine toppings of choice (we like shredded chicken, ground beef, shredded beef for a protein level up topping) 

 

DIRECTIONS: POUTINE GRAVY 

  1. Prepare your fries and toppings ahead of time. Keep them warm 

  1. Remove clear pouch from package.  Cut your clear pouch and add to a clean bowl. Add mayonnaise and sour cream. Mix until fully blended. Cover and refrigerate (your ranch sauce) 

  1. Empty contents found directly inside your pouch into a small saucepan. Add ¾ cups water to start. Bring your poutine gravy to a low simmer on medium-low heat and stir constantly. As it thickens as more water (a couple tablespoons at a time) to your desired taste preferences  

  1. Time to plate! Add your fries, poutine toppings to a big dish. Top with gravy and then drizzle your ranch sauce on top. Finish off with a few dices of chives and even fresh cooked bacon crumbles. Serve!  

Note: If you plan on adding cheese! We recommend using a sheet pan or casserole dish. Layer everything except your ranch and place under the broiler for a minute or two until your cheese begins to bubble and melt. Remove from oven and drizzle ranch sauce on top
