JUST ADD:

BUTTER 

EGGS 

GROUND BEEF 

WATER 

 

YOU WILL NEED:

  • 1 egg 

  • 1 cup of water 

  • 1 tablespoon soft butter 

  • 2 – 3 tablespoons melted butter  

  • 1 ½ - 2 pounds ground beef for your burger patties 

 

DIRECTIONS:

Make your Naan Buns :  

Empty contents of your medium unlabeled bag into the bottom of a large bowl 

  1. Add your egg and butter and gently stir to combine 

  1. Add water ¼ cup at a time and beat the mixture with an electric mixer on medium speed or with a wooden spoon until your mix comes together as a soft dough (not too sticky).  Add an additional 1 – 2 tablespoons water if your dough is still crumbly.  

  1. Lightly grease the dough with a very small amount of melted butter (1 – 2 teaspoons) and cover in a draft-free location for an hour 

  1. Punch dough and cut dough into 12 equal portions. Roll each portion in between your hands into a small ball.  Set each ball onto a parchment lined sheet and brush each with a little melted butter (1 teaspoon is enough for all of them).   

  1. Let rest for 30 minutes 

  1. Take each dough ball and flatten slightly.  Form each into a flat round disk (burger bun size) and set each back onto your parchment paper.   

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet to medium-high heat (do not grease).  Place 3 – 4 rounds on the bottom of your skillet for about 60 seconds, until the side browns slightly. Flip and repeat for your second side.  Remove your rounds to a sheet pan and lightly brush each side with melted butter.  Serve with your Aussie burgers 

Make your Burgers :  

  1. Empty contents of your small unlabeled bag into a small dish 

  1. Separate your ground beef into 6 equal portions. Roll each portion in between your hands to form a ball.  

  1. Flatten each ball and form a burger pattie round 

  1. Lightly brush each round with a little olive oil and press each side into your burger seasoning.  

  1. Let rest for 30 minutes on your countertop before grilling 

  1. Heat grill to medium-high heat. Lightly grease your grill 

  1. Grill your burger patties one each side to the desired doneness 

  1. Serve in between your Aussie rounds and with your fave toppings (Aussies LOVE beats on burgers!)
