There are 3 ways to cook bacon
#1 : Skillet - this is the most popular bacon cooking method. When we think of crispy bacon, we think skillet cooked bacon.
Put the bacon in a cold skillet (yes cold!), then set your stovetop burner over medium heat and cook. Turn your bacon occassionally from one side to the other, 7 to 11 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Remember, don't over-crowd your bacon. It's best to work in batches
#2 : Microwave - the quick and dirty method when time is of the essence and you don't want to babysit the skillet
Line a lare microweave-safe plate with a double layer of paper towels. Add the bacon and cover with 2 additional paper towels. Microwave on HIGH for 5 to 8 minues, until crispy and immediately move your bacon to another plate to crisp and cool slightly
#3 : Oven - the new preferred method for a healtheir unfried and crispy bacon
Arrange your bacon on a rack that has some space between the rack and the pan that will hld all your drippings (usually a foil lined pan works best). Bake your bacon at 350F for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool your bacon on a plate
